Traverse Area Community Sailing is an organization dedicated to providing sailing education and opportunities for all.

Open sailing is available AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE to any sailor who has successfully completed a current-season TACS Sailing Program. SEASON PASSES are also available for purchase by previous TACS Sailing Program graduates or others with equivalent training and/or demonstrable qualifications. An Application/Experience History is required. Prior to using TACS boats, new applicants (or returning members after a one year lapse) will be required to demonstrate rigging and sailing ability for a one- time fee of $30. Open Sailing is available every Tuesday & Thursday evening from 4:30 to 8:00PM.

 

One ANNUAL FEE allows drop-In sailing any time a TACS Sailing program is in session and an instructor and safety boat is on the water and the Hull Park facility is open, subject to availability. Additionally, Open Sailing is available Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 4 to 8PM from mid-June through Mid-August Use of boats limited by skill and certification level. Youth passes are for ages 8 to 17. Season passes can be purchased online through either the adult or youth registration process (you can purchase a season pass WITHOUT registering for a class)
