Traverse Area Community Sailing is an organization dedicated to providing sailing education and opportunities for all.

TACS is happy to announce a new program hosted at the Cornwell Sailing Center: Summer Laser series for middle school, high school, collegiate and adult sailors, two divisions, come sail with some of the BEST!!!

 

Here are some of the details:

The entry fee is $15 per competitor per week entry fee or pay $80.00 for summer series in a single payment, $20 boat rental fee for nonmembers of TACS.

TACS does have 12 boats available for use. Fleet racing will be in two divisions. Each division will compete on the same course and share a start. 

 

Races will be held on Tuesdays (June 20, 27, July 11, 18, 25, August 1, 8, 15) at the following times:

​

• 4:30 – 5:30 Check-in. Immediately rig boats after check-in.

• 5:30 Competitor’s meeting on the pavilion dock, boats should be launched as soon as possible following the competitor’s meeting.

• 6:00 First Warning, racing will continue until three races have been completed.
